Bauchi state governor on Tuesday, 6th if May, ordered residents of the state to stop all trading and social activities with people outside the state because of the rate of increase of Coronavirus in neighbouring states.
He said the state is worried because people are still contracting this infection. Jigawa had 46 cases in a day and Kano is also increasing.
“We have told our local governments chairmen that no trader, no visitor or any social activities should be conducted with anybody outside Bauchi.” He said
He has also set up local government committees for sensitization in their respective communities.
“Our state will remain partially locked irrespective of what is happening anywhere.” He noted
