President Muhammadu Buhari To Address Nigerians Today

According to the National Coordinator for the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Sanni Aliyu, on Channels Television's Sunday Politics on Sunday, President Muhammadu Buhari will address the nation today, Monday, 18 May.

When he was asked if the PTF is thinking to take a new step seeing that some Nigerians are not following guidelines for lockdown easing, he noted that it is only the president that has can decide whether the lockdown ease will continue or not.

He said the Presidential Task Force for COVID-19 are watching how people are implementing the lockdown ease guidelines.

He said recommendations have been made to the president and it is left for him to make the decision on Monday.
